OH HEEYYYLL NO!!!! Is that really how my blog is going to be introduced.?!? With a picture of my Beyonce costume?!? Ahahaha!!! (Check out that ass though! And that ever-so-painful front tuck...never again!!)

It's definitely that eventful time of the year when the Kaba fams gets together for their annual Halloween costume party! You never know who's going to show up! Last year we had Jay Z and Beyonce along with her back-up dancers, Lady Gaga made an appearance, so did Bush and Cheney, Yoda himself, Spock, and Cio and Clarizcel dressed up as...each other.?! If you know anything about Legacy and its extended family, what we love just as much as dancing together is playing together. I mean how can you pass up any opportunity to dress up silly and act silly with your closest group of friends? Last summer, we couldn't even wait for Halloween to dress up, so we brought it on stage for our Body Rock 2009 set! Haha! So what are you going to be for Halloween this year? I'll leave you with this video and these pictures for inspiration. You didn't know that I can impersonate a mean Britney Spears too, now did you? And by "mean"....there really is no pun intended....or is there.?

Continuing the spirit of Halloween, back from the grave to offer you another Thriller to make you Scream is the one and only King of Pop whose headshot is just as timeless as his music:

Hello all. It is Thursday...and I'm sure by now everyone has had sufficient time to recover from Saturday night. If you weren't there for our fundraiser party...then you definitely missed out. Everyone had a great time...especially Kristina Bui (btw did you find your shoes?!?!). If you've ever partied with some of us before, it can get pretty crazy... maybe even spectator sport worthy (just ask the people at Confidential). Sometimes I think I enjoy partying with Legacy more than dancing with them...Now that the party is over I guess the next event to look forward to is............

HALLOWEEN!!!

One of the greatest traditions of all!!! If you think our regular parties are fun....imagine our Halloweeeen parties. I've been slacking on my costumes for the past two years...so hopefully I will come up with something good this time.

What will you be?!?!?

In the spirit of Halloween the next spotlight will be written by the beautiful....lovely......talented.....chart topping.... platinum selling....multi Grammy Awarrd winning...

PJ Hali-licious! So you better watch out for that all you single ladies!

Hi Everyone! I usually hate writing blogs but since it's for KM Legacy, here goes a short rant on what's new with us. So as you all know we just had our WONDROUS PHOTOSHOOT this past Sunday and it was pretty damn amazing. THANK YOU to everyone who helped out with the entire process including, Ro Crisostomo, Myesha Howze, Michael Nguyen, and Kathleen Trinh for making us look hot! And a special thanks to PJ and Ugly (Eric Calvario) for making it all come together so well. Here's a teaser from our photoshoot http://justinelement.com/blog/?p=2273 by the AMAZING Justin Element. Now that that's all over, it's time to party it up this SATURDAY at FLIGHT in HUNTINGTON BEACH. Not gonna lie, it's going to be the best shindig you've ever been to..so GO! K, that's all.

The next, much better, spotlight will be written by LITTLE TIMMY NERI...ROTTEN CHERRIES!

Hello World! This is Allibon, the newest addition to KM Legacy Board as Eric's Calvario's Minion (aka Marketing Assistant). I am happy to welcome you back to our website as we are pleased to introduce something new that will keep you coming back every Wednesday :D Each week, KM Legacy will be posting a Spotlight Blog of the Week, by a different member of our company. That way, you guys will get a chance to get to know the team, as well as be in the know of what is going on with us. Who knows what these blogs can include....We are all pretty crazy and random, if you haven't already figured that out ;)

As for other things that have been going on with us....
- Thank you to everyone who came out to our SUMMER SERIES- MASTER CLASSES :) It was awesome seeing some new faces. Our most successful of the series was our KM Family Dance Day, which was held on August 22nd, where we had instructors from each group of our family teach!

- This Sunday, we will be having our annual photoshoot. We have a sick sick sick photographer booked to do our shoot, so be to check those out when they are released. Visit WWW.JUSTINELEMENT.COM <------PS. did I mention he was SIIICK!??!
- OUR PARTY IS NEXT SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!ORIFJWO:QIJFOWEIJHFOEIJF FJ#W*R&#)@&UFEWIJF We hope to see you all there! Two of our favorite things will be happening that night: 1. Performing and 2. Playing :) Come and enjoy the night with us!
- Another huge event to look forward to---> Kreative Movement's "2INSPIRE" Showcase on November 28th. I'm SUPPPERR excited for this event since this is also my first year on the Directors Board w/ Kreative, and I know how hyped all the kiddos are to be able to put on an event for a good cause :)
- There is actually way too many events for me to list and to be excited about on this blog....soooo I will leave that up to you to check out our Calendar Section (set up by the talented Mr. Mikey Andaya) for all the cool events and shenanigans that we will be up to... OR.....Be sure to follow us on twitter at WWW.TWITTER.COM/KM_LEGACY Go...Follow...NOW!!

My Random Rant:
My best friend and KM Legacy Assistant Artistic Director - CLARIZCEL PEREZ - is currently teaching in Singapore! She will be gone for 2 whole months....and...ummm I miss her a lot, but I'm so proud of her because she is probably one of the most talented dancers I have ever known in my life. K that's all....I MISS YOU CLENNNGGGG <3

My Other Random Rant:
If you don't know who Antoine Dodson is yet, I'd actually be very surprised because he's actually really famous. Go check him out if you haven't already, because he is my current ringtone...and he has basically changed my life HAHA

Our next Spotlight will be written by none other than the lovely.......KRISTINA BUI!! So stay on the lookout for that post next week!

Get Into the LEGACY

posted by Eric on February 25, 2010

We are happy to announce that we will be having our very first OPEN auditions on Tuesday, March 2nd 2010. Come join a legacy of 27 returning dancers that represent the familial and professional aspect of dance regardless of your background or training. We're looking to take this year to the next level and invite all elite dancers to audition that our company can grow for, from and with. In being a member, you are given the opportunity to travel, train, teach, participate in televised events/performances and grow within a truly special and unique camaraderie of dancers. This is more than a dance team to us. This is our extended family.

Also, we will be announcing our New 2010-2011 Board of Operations this Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010 so look out for that!

Big thanks again to everyone who has supported us throughout the dance year. Special BIG THANKS to Fanny Pak and Victor Kim from Quest for collaborating with us on our recent "Felix" Set. We really attempted to go somewhere deeper with this set and try something new so we thank you guys for helping us break through the written script/dancing threshold. We have several big plans and new/innovative ideas for the 2010-2011 dance year. We are beyond excited! Stay tuned...

In our continued pursuit of expanding our horizons, we have taken in some very talented new faces onto the roster and are welcome back a few familiar ones. We will be debuting this new production as we close the Vibe XV Showcase (Irvine ) on January 31st (www.vibedancecompetition.com). We will also be performing the same set at Kasiyahan showcase (Oxnard) on Feb. 19th and at Urban Street Jam (Irvine) Feb. 20 (www.urbanstreetjam.com). Our website is finally here!! Let me tell you, it's been a roller coaster ride from scratch to the wonderfully-delicious-masterpiece that you're navigating through today. It's a blessing to have this space for us to share a piece of our life with you guys here in cyyyberrrwoorrrllllllldddd.. you get to see what we do, and what we love without breaking a sweat! Ha.. Anyway, there's been so much going on that came along with creating this website, we decided that we HAD to throw a party TOUR to celebrate!! (Yup, tour. That means two things: #1-we'll be having more than one party, and #2-we'll be going to different cities! So come out and party with us when we're in your area!!) Our website release tour kickoff party is tomorrow at Kress Club in Hollywood and it's definitely "crunch time" at the studio. We've got ladies in boots and chandelier earrings and guys with gun holsters walking around in basketball shorts and tees perfecting moves with a different sense of balance while having random ornaments flying around! If you're coming to the party tomorrow, get ready for an action-packed thrill of sexy assassins entertaining you on-stage at midnight!! (Wow, that sentence sounds SO weird..) We've already got our guestlist of 150 VIPs that include our friends and family, family from the local LA dance community, media coverage, and handfuls of business partners and supporters that will be a part of our website release tour kickoff in LA!! We've only got one more night of practice tonight and then we're off.. It's finally here and I know it's going to be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who was able to partake in this website creation, especially Mark Reyes and Mikey Andaya. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we thank you so much for your time, dedication, and how you've shared your talents with us. :) You guys are almost as talented as ME!!!! ..just kidding. ;)
